BOMBAenergy Sponsor of Wet Blue Racing Team
The Wet Blue was launched in La Rochelle, France in October
2000. A fast boat, as the maiden trip to Malta soon proved. What better idea
than to establish the Wet Blue Racing Team.
In January
2001, 20 potential crew members took up training activities. From these, 15 were
selected and the Wet Blue Racing Team was born. Regular
training began in February and training sessions were stepped up to three
instead of one per week. The team was a good one and there was no lack of
confidence.
BOMBAenergy was taken on board as a sponsor
along with a language school. With this financial support the team is now able
to participate in many races. Our best wishes are with them for all future
regattas.
